Question: Suppose I have an hour-long conversation-based lesson with a teacher and I record it, do I count it as 1 hour for the challenge or should I try to estimate how much time I actually spent talking? Perhaps 30 min assuming it's not a one-sided conversation.

I would think that you should estimate 30 minutes unless you are convinced it is more. In which case you need to probably time it.

But in this challenge I am happy for people to just follow you conscience and put down what you feel is correct.

LANGUAGES: Finnish, Chinese, Spanish

CHALLENGE: Full Challenge

CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: Finnish (A1), Chinese and Spanish (B1 to B2)

WILLING TO CORRECT LANGUAGE: Yes. German.

COMMENTS: I will alternate between the three languages and post my audio recordings in the Facebook group of the 30 Days Speaking Challenge and my writing in the Facebook group Language Writing Fun. Maybe also in Langcorrect or Journaly. I'm documenting my progress in Finnish in my language log in this forum: https://forum.language-learners.org/vie ... 15&t=18711.

LANGUAGE: Latin

CHALLENGE: Full Challenge

CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: ??? (A2/B1?)

WILLING TO CORRECT LANGUAGE: Yes, English

COMMENTS: This should be fun but might not get started until the 16th. I don’t know where my level would be but I haven’t practiced output much.

LANGUAGE: French; Esperanto; Russian

CHALLENGE: Full Challenge (for all 3 combined, not one for each)

CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: B-something in input, A (as in Atrocious) in output; beginner; beginner

WILLING TO CORRECT LANGUAGE: yes, Romanian, assuming there is anyone actually learning and wants corrections

COMMENTS: Guess I will have to, horribile dictu, create a log for the written part. And actually write stuff in it. On a regular basis. And I don't even have the excuse of partying too much yesterday, for this decision...

LANGUAGE: Latin/Greek

CHALLENGE: writing only

CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: B2/C1?

WILLING TO CORRECT LANGUAGE: yes (English)

COMMENTS: If it's allowed, I'd like to do a Latin/Greek writing-only challenge (for 50,000 words total, not 100,000). If that's not allowed, I'll just do Latin.

LANGUAGE: Spanish

CHALLENGE: Full Challenge

CURRENT LANGUAGE LEVEL: Input B2ish, but my output (especially speaking) needs improvement.

WILLING TO CORRECT LANGUAGE:Yes, English.

COMMENTS: I'm looking to continue improving my Spanish in a revitalized sense. My old goal of 2 hours per day of immersion just isn't cutting it anymore, and I need a new jolt of energy infused into my practice. I will probably use r/WriteStreakES for my writing portion, but someone in this thread mentioned LangCorrect and Journaly and in the future I may use them if they appeal to me.
