(From memory) You get stars when you reach 25, 50,75,100 books or films. The metals are for streaks.

I totally forgot about streaks until I saw a few of those medals on the results page. I remember now that when I was last using the twitter bot, I would tweet my books every 10% or so, in order to have a book post at least once a week.

This leads me to a related question: how are streaks counted? Are they based on calendar weeks? If so, starting on which day? Or are they based on the last time you tweeted? So if you tweeted a French book on Wednesday this week, you'd have to tweet another before Wednesday next week?

The bot's timezone is listed at the bottom, seems to be UK time (with DST changes). Previously the week changed at midnight Sunday, I don't think this has been changed.

There's a second kind of badges for having finished a specific number of *both* books and film items in the past 14 days - 1/2/5 (so to get the first badge you need one book *and* one film). The golden badge can be surprisingly hard to get, I had it for Portuguese once and still have a screenshot  It's easier to read 10 books or watch 10 items in two weeks than to do 5/5.

So if the bot doesn't respond two hours after you've tweeted, should you retweet your entry?

I also totally forgot about that other set of badges. Is it for all languages, or is it with a single language? I'm tempted to spend a week trying to get the 5/5 badge sometime during my summer holidays... but I know how it will go: 3 days of reading and watching all day, followed by 3 months of burnout.
But in all seriousness, I do think I'll try for an immersive week or two this summer.

Yes, there was a glitch for awhile when it was in a loop and I had to force it to skip ahead some tweets. Yours might be effected. It only missed about 5 minutes but ...

Today on May 20th. I made a mistake while tweeting it. So the whole tweet under the "films" section appeared as Unknown 180 minutes.

I wanted to delete it completely and then will repost it correctly.

I replied to the above-mentioned tweet that contained a mistake but I am not sure if I am doing it correctly.

p.s: I think I have deleted that tweet from the system altogether by mistake so I can not tweet back to the same tweet that contained the mistake.

I will keep it as unknown 180 minutes rather than with a correct title name. But I will be careful in the future while sending tweets.

Maybe someone technical can confirm this but I've had a problem with getting "unknown" as well and it's when the font does those reverse quotes rather than quotes that are the same on both sides. I don't recall having a problem with this in prior years.

Some people don't do their titles but I do because I like to see what other people are reading and watching in my languages so I can mine for ideas.

Yes the fancy quotation marks cause problems. Don't use them. Single quotation marks should be ok. It use ANSII I think.

So when it comes to Japanese, I see people using character counts instead of word counts. I'm reading some novels online, how many characters equals one page?
