Does that mean that there's not gonna be a bot at all? Or are you still working on it?

The first few weeks of the first super challenge :D
"a few super challenges" is at least 4 years  Though yeah during the first two or three challenges there were definitely people only keeping track in their logs or excel etc. Not sure whether this applies to every single challenge we've had.

It is basically ready to go, but I don't have access to the file which needs to be changed. I'm waiting for access.

Out of curiosity, are audiobooks OK for the book part of the challenge?

Audiobooks count as “films” since you listen to them.

Do you think you'll ever get access to the file? :geek:
Or should we give up on the bot?

I have two options. I can setup a website on a different URL which has nothing to do with language learners, or I can give up. I can setup the website and have it access the DB on the forum DB.

I will ask again for access and if I can't get it by next week I will setup the software on a new server. The domain name and URL will be different, but I can redirect it later if the official one becomes available.

Well, I hope we can get a bot eventually. I don't understand the problems as I haven't been following the discussions, but I appreciate any work being done to try to get a bot and website running.

I also appreciate the spreadsheet that another user made, but I'm really not an adept spreadsheet person (the last job I had that I needed those skills for was in the late 1990s) and after thoroughly messing up the template a few times, I gave up using it to track my stuff and my own recording keeping hasn't been great so far.

Note from an educator and former ESL/test skills tutor: Any learner, including self-learners, can use the CEFR for self-assessment. The CEFR is for helping learners progress and not for gatekeeping and bullying.

Is there a leaderboard anywhere for the SC? I'm guessing 'no', since no-one would be using the non-working bot, right?
