And yes, it looks like a crazy plan. That's why I like it!
Aaaand one more, to start with (yes, it is listed as the last one, but I am starting with it):
Language:French

Current level:C2
Comments, links: goals: The watching part will be easy, I'll be watching stuff anyways. But the reading part is the key. I struggle a lot with tons of textbooks I need to read asap. And I hope this challenge will get me through this. I'll be counting only what I've been reading since the 1st of May.

Re: Super Challenge registration thread 2020
Language: French
Challenge: full
Current level: some form of intermediate.
Comments, links: This is my second attempt at a French SC, the last time around, I almost completed the reading part, (but I slacked off with the reporting towards the end, so I'm not sure exactly how close I got). The films will be tougher for me, but I'll have a go.
Language: Germanic family
Challenge: full
Current level: ranging from absolute beginner (Icelandic) to advanced beginner (German).
Comments, links: I'll definitely be struggling with the film component of this, but there is at least a possibility that I can do the reading part. The challenge will definitely add to my motivation though, so it is worthwhile for me to sign up even if I don't complete it.

Re: Super Challenge registration thread 2020
Language: German
Challenge: full
Current level: beginner (one year of prior study)
Comments, links: This will be my first Super Challenge. I am intrigued by the 20-month aspect and look forward to camaraderie and mutual progress. The film component will be the most significant part of the challenge for me and the pace of about five films per month seems properly adapted to my learning methods. My preferences and evolved habits definitely lack the visual components of film almost entirely and I see this as a way of adding balance and expanding my horizons. I would wish success and enjoyment to all!

Language: French
Challenge: Half
Current level: C1
Language: Spanish
Challenge: Half
Current level: B2ish
Language: Russian
Challenge: Half
Current level: B1 or B2
Pretty similar to what I did last time. I did consider doing a Romance challenge rather than separating out French and Spanish, but I think I would just end up only reading in French and only watchingin Spanish. Hopefully this is the year where I actually have some success with the Russian...
(Edited for silly mistakes!)

Re: Super Challenge registration thread 2020
I'm doing a full Challenge for Family Romance. As usual, I drifted around between languages. I'm going to change this to a full challenge for Family-Romance, so I can count French and Portuguese.
Language:Family-Romance
Cahllenge:Full
Current Level: Goddess knows, maybe B2/C1 reading.
