OK, here goes:
Language: German
Challenge: Double
Current level: C1
Comments: My German is already pretty good (see above) but I want it to be as good as it can possibly be, hence the double challenge. I'll probably track using Google sheets rather than the Twitter bot.

Re: Super Challenge registration thread 2020
Language: Arabic
Challenge: Full
Current level: B1 by now, surely? (Was on the cusp of B1 last June)
Comments, links: "Film" will be a mix of MSA, Moroccan, and other dialects. If I'm on top of things, I will track the dialects individually to see the breakdown.
Language: French
Challenge: Double
Current level: C
Comments, links: Reading only. I have so many books to read and would like the extra motivation of seeing my numbers go up.
Language: German
Challenge: half
Current level: A2? but higher passive skills.
Comments, links: I'd like the extra push of the challenge to keep my German in circulation (and ideally also improve it).

Comments, links:
Language: Italian

Comments, links: I considered signing up for the romance family so I could also count Catalan and eventually French, but I have a feeling I would get lazy and only focus on Spanish.
Language: Japanese A1
Challenge: Full
Current level: A1
Comments, links: My focus is going to be on films. I don't think I can complete the book goal just yet.

Comments: main resources are going to be the e-library of Goethe Institut and city library for reading, ZDF for watching
Language: Italian
Challenge: half
Current level: A1
Comments: it will be hard, but I want to start using the language instead of studying only
I was thinking about doing full-challenge in both of my stronger languages, but I don't want to force myself to focus only on the challenge (and there is RL too )

Comments, links: I will be tracking my progress in a googledoc, but I might try to use twitter this time. I'm still trying to figure it out. In 2018, I signed up for a double SC in French which I completed in April 2019, and a half SC in Italian and Japanese, at which I failed. I think I burned myself out with doing so much French, and I always thought I could start with Italian or Japanese after finishing the French SC. Instead I never got into the habit of using Italian and Japanese.

Re: Super Challenge registration thread 2020
Language: Danish
Challenge: double
Current level: Never been tested, but I think listening is around B2 and reading C1, with the other skills lower.
Comments: It will be a bit different from last time over the next few months as all the podcasts I listen to have stopped due to Corona. But I have a good collection of audio books, so I will be listening to them on the way to work instead. Apart from these I have a lot of DVDs and books which I haven't seen / read yet.
