Yeah, just a little over one week left. I've having to cope with extreme heat for the past couple of weeks (it was 101F here today) and the Clozemaster update completely derailed my app routine, which derailed the rest of my study routine, so I haven't been very productive as of late. But I hope everyone else is doing well with their studies and have had a productive 6WC. I made some noticeable progress but I still don't think I'm at B1 with Russian yet. Getting closer at least.

Well, I hope this 6WC was productive for everyone. Mine was, up to a point. The last 2 weeks were a bust but I'm thrilled with my progress in listening and phonology/pronunciation, which makes recalling vocabulary and remembering case endings so much easier for me now.

I'm not quite B1 yet, I could probably use another 6WC with Russian to get me over that hump, but I think next time I'm going to do one of my lower priority A1 languages because I think the pressure I put on myself to get good at Russian seems to grind me down pretty quickly and I just need to coast a bit with Russian for the next couple of months.

Going to do an update here about the challenge because I've been too lazy to do it in my log (too many thoughts and a lot of laziness to write them down).

Accomplishments:
- was able to stick with Assimil the whole time and finished 12 chapters
- studied a little over 300 words, most of them from Assimil. Others were from one day that I got carried away trying to read french wikipedia articles about the months and seasons.

I had planned to do what I usually do: make a twitter list for a language and add twitter accounts of newspapers/native content. I did that but I ended up not using (yet...).
Compared to the first time I participated, this second time was more laid back. I was aiming to do something similar to the 365 days challenge (30min minimum each day) but for 6 weeks. I managed to do it, according to my timer app, with the exception of 3~4 days. I don't think I enjoyed starting a language from scratch with the challenge... it was also my fault that I decided to do it the day before and the only thing in my plan was Assimil! I like the resource but I felt like I was lacking something more to aid the learning. If I had picked a proper textbook to follow along with Assimil, it'd have been better I suppose. Which is what I'll do now since I decided to stick with French. :)

Will there be an August 6WC?
