I don't think you need to worry about that.

Thanks to this challenge, I could listen an interview of polyglot Dmitri Petrov (Дмитрий Петров) on Radio Mayak (Радио Маяк) yesterday and comprehend much. It was a huge confidence booster and my wife was impressed as well. If the momentum continues for the remaining nine months, I believe I shall be able to read, without much difficulty, Lao She's novel 猫城记 in its Russian translation, Записки о кошачьем городе, before the end of 2020.
