It's supposed to be on, but the registration is broken. Someone managed to register on July 13 though. If it gets fixed it should be possible to count what you did after July 15 though.

Kind of back after a long absence. Life.

Just wanted to check, though. Is Tadoku no longer being held?

Thanks all. Good to see all the familiar "faces" still around and going strong :)

Tadoku in its current form is more or less dead. I started working on the new version of it with LordSilent, but he's just too busy with real life to contribute to it.

I've been working on it on and off for the past couple months here. Current goal is to get something up by the end of the month, even if it's not completely ready yet. If you want to help out you're always welcome to come check out the discord for it.

Ohhh thanks for clarifying. Is it because the twitter api was changed again?

Good luck!!! So are you aiming to hold the challenge in June?

That plus the fact that there was no up to date copy of the source code anymore. LS didn't want to keep running the contest in its current form as it was really buggy, and fixing it wasn't going to happen any time soon.

I'm thinking of doing a two week test run in June to identify possible issues. After that I'd like to figure out the exact schedule and get it running regularly again.

Many thanks for that! I will definitely join in the new test run if that is a possibility, and I will check the discord for this.

It's been a while since I started working on the new Tadoku and it's finally in a state where we can do some testing.
There will be a test round running between June 15~30. You can sign up at https://tadoku.app/. Would be nice to see some of the old participants back in the game.

It's not in a completely finished state yet, but should be good enough to start running the contest again. I'd like to improve it over time while we're actually using it. In order to do so I will need your feedback. You can leave it here, pm it to me, send it over on Twitter, or Discord. Whatever floats your boat.

Note: the contest is not integrated with Twitter anymore. Logging updates/signing up through it won't do anything.

Some of the stuff that I'm already aware of:
- No proper landing page yet (designing this at the moment)
- No manual/rules book yet
- Mobile support is limited (the details page of a user stats/navigation needs work)
- UX needs work, especially when it comes to loading states

(Checked with rdearman before posting to see if it's okay to advertise the new Tadoku)

A new round for September has started. I hope this will be the last test round before the official relaunch of the contest.
