The three tags #ie #multilingual #linguistics which are all grouped together as "Multilingual" on the scoreboard can be used if you don't want to differentiate between several languages.

Also available are: Nahuatl, #Ancient_Greek, #ASL, #Cantonese. I don't know what the tag is for Nahuatl.

Putting the word "yesterday" into a tweet, with or without hashtag, adds the score in that tweet to the previous day rather than the current day.

I'm (finally!) doing Arabic. My main resource will be this mooc:

I started on it before, and was very satisfied with it, but didn't manage to finish because I was too busy with other things. They also have courses in Czech and Chinese starting on the 4th of February, if anyone is interested. The Arabic course starts on the 7th. While I wait, I will probably do some writing practice, maybe also some Mondly or Busuu.

My goal is to learn words and grammar enough to construct a complete sentence, and to be able to write it down and then read it afterwards without any aid.

I'll be doing German, but have really no plans yet on exact goals. Hopefully I'll get them worked out by Friday.

I've signed up for Japanese. I plan to use the anki core 6000 deck, RTK, glossika, and intensive watching of anime (ie looking up all the words). I'll also continue working on German and Spanish. I think I'll try to focus on getting somewhere in the Output Challenge during February, but I'll be doing other things as well.

Japanese!!! :D I will mainly use Japanese101 and Japanese pod and other audio resources. I also want to learn all of the kanji required by the JLPT level 5 (about 108), and their readings.

I just signed up for French! With any luck, before too long my French level will be too high for this challenge. :)

I'll probably just be continuing with what I've been doing, ie. watching TV, Learning with Texts, reviewing Duolingo, and intensive reading. Possible additions to that include extensive reading, listening to an audiobook, L-R, and maybe a grammar book.

Last November I gave up on reporting hours after I noticed I was studying more Mandarin than Greek anyway. So this time I signed up for Mandarin instead (I am @ser_be_etre_shi).

I like to use various resources at the same time, and I have a whole bunch at my disposal, but I just wanted to mention Coursera has various MOOCs for Chinese that you can take for free, e.g. the one I'll be taking and already signed up for, Chinese for HSK 4 https://www.coursera.org/learn/hsk-4

I signed up for Arabic this time. I'm visiting Morocco at the end of the challenge, so it will be a nice chance to use some of what I've learned....except that nobody actually speaks MSA and Moroccan Arabic is notoriously hard to understand. :lol:

I'll also be working on my other languages to varying degrees of intensity. I already keep track of all my study time and activities elsewhere, so I may only tweet in weekly totals for each language.
