More seriously, I don't have any problem with you joining. The only problem I see is that you take away any hope of getting the first place, in as much as vying for first place is a valuable game to play.

I signed up for Hebrew.
I'll be using Anki, Hebrew from Scratch, Assimil Hebrew, iTalki and maybe FSI. (Other language study will continue.)

I signed up for Dutch. I have some courses to continue on with, books to read, and cartoons to watch. I'm all set

Even though I've failed every single 6 week challenge before, I'll probably still sign up again for Japanese using Japanesepod101, subs2srs and intensive listening of Japanese TV series using Audacity and WorkAudiobook. Maybe the third time is a charm.

Thanks for posting that! In fact, I'll see if I can get through all three MOOCs. I'm not starting from scratch with any of the three though so it's not as brave/foolhardy as one might think.
As for this year's first 6WC, right now I don't even know which language to pick. Maybe a randomized pick between several will do the trick...

Re: 6WC 6 Week Challenge- Feb 2019
After taking a break for all of 2018 I signed up with Croatian
Nothing has changed. However it's very much possible to be B1 and get good scores on dialang. And imo only the active scores should be relevant.reineke wrote:Can members sign up with B2 - C-level Dialang/Leipzig scores or was the whole 2018 discussion only a fox hunt? What about members who have signed up multiple times with the same languages and raked up many hundreds of hours?

If you want something to change, you have to ask Sprachprofi about it As far as I can tell, so far nobody has got around to it.reineke wrote:Can members sign up with B2 - C-level Dialang/Leipzig scores or was the whole 2018 discussion only a fox hunt?
