I just tried registering to test it. Either it's not working at all, or it's having that problem with the big delay again. It's been half an hour and it hasn't replied to my registration tweet.

She'll be at the polyglot gathering in May most likely, so if it isn't fixed and I see her I'll mention it.

Well, whether or not the bot gets going, I guess I'm doing the 6WC anyway! I'm doing it in a way more like the original intention of the challenge this time, in that I'm doing a language in which I'm a beginner, and want to see how far I can progress in 6 weeks.

So I'm doing the 6 Week Challenge in ASL, using ASLU (Lifeprint) as my primary (only?) resource. I'm starting at a beginner level; I've only done lesson 1 and part of lesson 2 so far. And I'm working full-time.

I'll probably still spend more time on French than ASL! But I'm hoping this'll give my ASL a nice beginner boost. :)

I’m not participating this time anyway, but if someone wants to contact Judith to ask about the page and the bot, her twitter handle is @GermanPolyglot . And if she’s given up on the whole thing, Ser was considering making a similar challenge, so maybe that will be an alternative when/if it gets finished.

She hasn't been active on Twitter since a re-tweet in early April. I tweeted at her on Tuesday, but she hasn't responded. The learnlangs.com site still exists, but the 6WC page redirects to an Esperanto blog as many have noticed. I hope everything is well with her. It just doesn't seem like her to have completely buried the 6-Week Challenge without a mention.

I created a temporary thread that we can use for now for May. I hope that nobody minds.

Temporary 6WC thread for May 2019

I'll be focusing on Polish as my TL for the next six weeks.
