I think the maximum stars I will get is 6. Correct me if I am wrong as I did not see an increment even though it was prompted to me that with 2 more films I would receive the next star which did not happen. Is this the case?

There are different stars, when for example you have 50 films and 50 books you get a larger star, not just the littleblue on. I think the maximum is 6 large stars, but it has been 3-4 years and I really don't remember. However, I don't believe you'll see any difference until you have increased the number of books.
