Language: Romance family (French and Spanish with a smattering of Italian and Romanian)
Challenge: Full
Current level: Total beginner (Romanian) to B2 (French)
Comments, links: I've not used my language skills for a few years, and they've completely atrophied. I've decided that this year I'm going to gently re-start consuming content in them. Hopefully this will encourage me to watch more TV and read more books!

Language: Mandarin
Challenge: Full
Current level: Wobbly A1 (passed the HSK 2 test in December)
Comments, links: I'm not sure how reading is going to work out, but it sounds like the sort of challenge that's made for 2021.

Language: Japanese
Challenge: Full
Current level: I passed N3 last December. So probably lower intermediate or B1? I know the JLPT doesn't really fit with the CEFR system.

Comments: I barely did any listening practice before. So I found the listening part of Japanese tests to be very hard, whilst the reading was easy. I actually started a personal challenge similar to this one, in an attempt to complete just the movie part this year. Once the listening part is out of the way, I'll focus more on reading.
