Last year Benny Lewis put together an amazing blog post of discounts on all kind of programs. This year, he's busy with his upcoming Boot Camp thing, and I don't think he's going to do it.
Has anyone heard any rumors of discounts?
Edit: Just got a message from Benny. He will be posting Black Friday deals again this year, primarily to everyone on his email list, and some to his Facebook group.
Any upcoming Black Friday deals?

Re: Any upcoming Black Friday deals?
Someone posted to the Glossika Community group on Facebook, asking if there would be any Black Friday subscription specials. Someone replied to use IMIN at checkout.
I'm just finishing my free 1-week trial and had wanted a yearly--but not for $300. I tried the code and got my year for $150.
So, woohoo!! 50% off.

SmarterGerman is a bit tempting but I know that I shouldn't. I'm curious if AML finished it.

Whatever you decide to buy, there or elsewhere, just be cautious of deceptive pricing. It's a common enough practice to hike a price or to publish a high "normal" price that no one pays to create "scarcity perception" when a lower price, available for a limited time is then announced.
In reality, some of these products can be acquired year-round at a lower than "full" price. Not everyone uses this practice but those that do negatively affect the buyers' perception of the industry. It's unfortunate. Caveat emptor.

Yes, the ones that I noted that had really high discounts were based on a "lifetime usage"--I seriously hope I'm not studying German for the rest of my life. Most of the ones I'm interested in, I'd already gone to their websites before and knew the regular price.
Like anything else, shop around and know your prices.
