Locate and Download Scripts/Subtitles - DivX Subtitles, Others?
While searching the archives of the HTLAL, I came across a post from 2007 wherein member translator2 provided a link to website for locating and downloading the scripts and/or subtitles of films. While there are probably other sites that offer similar/enhanced services, as a techno-peasant, I was quite impressed and I thought that other members might benefit from this. LINKS:
DivX Subtitles – Homepage
http://www.divxsubtitles.net/index.php
DivX Subtitles – search form
http://www.divxsubtitles.net/page_subtitles.php
DivX Subtitles – search results for the French-language film “Le Fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulin”
http://www.divxsubtitles.net/page_subtitleinformation.php?ID=20190
Others?
EDITED:
Title revised to include additional websites.

I have used opensubtitles .org in the past which is easier to search. However, the site can trick people into downloading adware, so beware. The usual rules apply- avoid flashing or green "Download NOW!!!!" signs or big, giant download arrows and just click on the actual srt file name and you'll be ok, in my experience.
