The Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spanish: Carnaval de Santa Cruz de Tenerife) is held each February in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of the largest island of the Canary Islands, Spain and attracts people from all over the world.

There are useful new functions (I'm comparing to their Lingo Player, I'm not using their Netflix app)

- A slowdown function of the audio, very good if you are listening to Spanish speakers. When you choose the 0,8 speed you get a slower undistorted voice and the video (lip movements) is perfectly in sync

- You can print out the script of the subtitles easily

- You can add a pop-up function of your choice, the Glosbe, Reverso Dictionary, Wordreference ..... entries will pop up in their respective web page, much like this Firefox add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/a ... y/reviews/. However it doesn't seem to work properly.

The Ministry of Education and FP and RTVE launch 'Aprendemos en casa' (We learn at home) to facilitate learning for all students during the suspension of face-to-face classes

Parrilla de Programación de Clan TV y La 2 de TVE

El canal Clan TV de RTVE emitirá los lunes espacios con contenidos de Matemáticas, los martes de Ciencias Sociales, los miércoles de Educación Artística y/o Educación Física, los jueves de Lengua e idiomas y los viernes de Ciencias Naturales. Estos programas estarán dirigidos a niños y niñas de entre 6 y 8 años en la franja horaria de 9:00 a 10:00 horas; a alumnado de 8 a 10 años entre las 10:00 y las 11:00 horas y a estudiantes de 10 a 12 años en la siguiente hora.

Asimismo, en La 2 de TVE, los estudiantes de 12 a 14 años podrán disfrutar de estos contenidos, adaptados a su edad, y en el mismo orden de materias por día de la semana que en los casos anteriores, entre las 12:00 y las 13:00 horas; y los de 14 a 16 años, en la siguiente franja horaria.



Editoriales y portales educativos ofrecen gratuitamente sus contenidos

El Ministerio de Educación y Formación Profesional, cuyos técnicos han trabajado intensamente durante los últimos días, ha contado con la colaboración de 14 editoriales y nueve portales educativos que han ofrecido sus contenidos de manera desinteresada. Estas empresas son EDEBÉ, EDELVIVES, McGraw-Hill, Planeta, Santillana, MacMillan, SM, ANAYA, BROMERA, BRUÑO, Algaida, Oxford University Press, British Council, Editorial Casals, Pearson, LingoKids, Smile&Learn, Unicoos, Unprofesor.com, Happy Learning, Quantum, Derivando y La cuna de Halicarnaso.

El departamento que dirige Isabel Celaá agradece muy especialmente esta amplia respuesta y espera que se produzcan nuevas incorporaciones en los próximos días para enriquecer el trabajo que se está realizando. Es una muestra más del compromiso que todo el ámbito educativo está demostrando durante esta situación excepcional y de la necesaria aportación de todos para salir adelante.
