I searched amazon.com to see results (I thought I'll install kindle app once I see the result). I didn't seem to find the right match for

In order to test the dictionaries, you'll need to download the free iOS/Android Kindle app and install it on your phone or tablet.

iOS Amazon Kindle app
Android Amazon Kindle app

After the installation, simply download a free book, look up a word and then select the desired Tamil dictionary for download.

If you have an eInk Kindle with the latest 5.9.x firmware, you can also download the Tamil dictionaries by logging into your Amazon account and selecting Manage Your Content and Devices > Books > Dictionaries & User Guides >Chol Tamil-English Dictionary > Deliver.

If you have neither iOS/Android devices nor an eInk Kindle. I could look up some tricky Tamil words and post the screen captures in this thread.
