A website was launched seven months ago. Today there are already 221 dictionaries available. You can also download books from the Central Institute of Indian Languages' Intensive Course series if you register. I found An Intensive Course in Sanskrit and An Intensive Course in Bengali.

The library has more than 5.5 lakh books in about 70 languages that you can download for free. The largest collection--currently numbering more than 2.5 lakh books--is in English. There are more than 50,000 books in Hindi. Sanskrit, Bengali, Gujarati, and Urdu collections also contain more than 30,000 books each. The search function is not that great. But if you're patient, you'll find plenty of quality material to practice reading.
