Hi,
the other day I came across a series of graded readers for MSA and after having read the stories in the first volume I would like to recommend it to others who might be looking for a nice graded reader.
The series is called Sahlawayhi and is comprised of five volumes. They can be conveniently ordered for a low price on Amazon.
What I liked about the first volume was that the stories are actually somewhat intriguing and enjoyable to read in spite of the fact they are written for beginners. It was also the first text that I was able to read relatively naturally even though it's not vocalized. In contrast to other readers I looked at, this one has stories that are much longer so that you can actually immerse yourself a little in the flow of the language.
Perhaps others here came across (graded) readers for Arabic that they would like to recommend? It would be nice to compile a list here.

Re: Graded Readers for MSA
Thanks for the tips. I checked on amazon.fr and they are available there as well. I also discovered that they have been recorded as audiobooks and can be downloaded on Audible. They are now on my wish list for when I get a little bit further in my Arabic studies.

Re: Graded Readers for MSA
Thank you for the recommendation!
I have "Arabic Stories for Languages Learners" edited by Hezi Brosh and Lutfi Mansur, which I quite like. It comes with a CD.
For French speakers (and those desiring non-fiction), I can heartily recommend the magazine "Al Moukhtarat". It contains articles at different levels (and they are marked with their CERCL level) and comes with a CD including all of the articles. Certain words are translated in a list accompanying the article. Only the literary supplement includes translations. https://www.imarabe.org/fr/ressources/p ... moukhtarat Most of the back issues are 5 euros each (for example). I'm not sure whether it's still being produced. If you're ever in Paris, you can pick up issues at the Insitut du Monde Arabe (it is, indeed their publication). It serves a similar purpose to Al Jazeera's learning site, but I find it a bit more approachable. I'll post a sample later.
