I hope I didn't miss another thread on this (I searched but to no avail).
I'm having trouble finding suitable reading material in Korean. I was hoping to find graded readers, but it seems they don't exist (yet). I found advice elsewhere to check out the [i]Yonsei Korean reading[i] series and I did, but it was pretty disappointing.
Has anyone found reading material suitable for beginners (A1.2~A2 level)? I really prefer books (children's books are fine), but other interesting material will do. Perhaps even some 만화?

Re: Korean reading material (books?)
I'm starting to wonder if I found the correct Yonsei books... Everyone seems enthusiastic about them. The books I found with the "Yonsei Korean reading" title seemed like regular textbooks to me, and not specifically aimed at reading. Am I missing something?
Thanks for the links though! Very helpful.

Re: Korean reading material (books?)
I think so! I only took a quick look. I think I've got to stop being stubborn and should just go with it for now, seeing how there's not much else out there.
(The link to the children's books looks great, so I'll definitely check those out as well )

Re: Korean reading material (books?)
The International Children's Digital Library at http://en.childrenslibrary.org/ has books in many languages that you can read online for free. There are various options to search by age level, etc. but you might not need to filter Korean - I see 6 books right now that are available in Korean, apparently translations from English-language children's books. It might be a start.
