Italian cultural institute - textbooks used.

The Italian Cultural institute in London uses the Espresso series of textbooks (1, 2, 3) for their language courses. The publisher is Alma Edizioni.

Yes, this series is quite popular and spread in the bookstores. It doesn't look bad, it just has the disadvantage of ending too early. These days even the classes go up to C1, even though slowly, yet most coursebook series end at B1 and the continuity after switching to a different series tends to be a problem.
