I know* there's an official Hungarian dub of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" out there, but I can't seem to find out where to buy it for the life of me, either online or in Budapest.
I'll be in Budapest for 2 more days. If anyone has tips on where TV shows can be purchased, please let me know!
*EDIT: At least, I think I know it exists, based on Google Translate's version of the Hungarian Wikipedia page...

Re: Hungarian Star Trek: TNG
So I spoke with an employee working at the DVD rental shop at Művész Mozi, and he says that the Star Trek TV shows were never released in Hungary, only the movies. And furthermore, he says you can't buy many TV shows at all. Which matches what I saw at the Media Markt store, which has plenty of movies but very limited series.
So I wonder where the clips of Stark Trek TNG I saw on YouTube came from..? Or what Wikipedia is referencing?

Re: Hungarian Star Trek: TNG
IMDB says it was released in Hungarian in 1998 but I believe that refers to its release to syndicated television and not a DVD release. I'm know absolutely no Hungarian but I think I found something for you. Check your inbox.

Re: Hungarian Star Trek: TNG
Thanks!
It's so weird to me that the Star Trek franchise would go through the dubbing efforts for syndicated TV but not then release them officially as a DVD set now.
