Open Online Courses

Postby Jaleel10 » Sat Sep 01, 2018 7:15 am

Hola a todos. Soy yo otra vez :)

Chances are you guys might know of this but I have found a wonderful niche resource for Spanish - Massive Open Online Courses.
First of all, what are Open Online Courses? A MOOC is a course of study made available over the Intenet without charge to a very large number of people. That being said, even though most courses are free, many do require payment to get a certificate.

This website hosts almost 200 of them in Spanish https://www.edx.org/, but feel free to just google MOOC because many universities make them available and there are also other sites that host them. Edx seems like an aggregator of mooc's. I have seen NoManches mention Mooc's before and that is where my journey down the rabbit whole began.

Spanish resources on page 2??? Never thought I'd see they day.

I found a great MOOC that handles Spanish grammar at the A2 - C1 levels

https://www.mooc-list.com/course/instru ... C3%ADada-x

There's a video explaining the course (with accurate subtitles for those whose level of Spanish may not allow them to understand everything spoken).

Here is a summary of the course:

Practising tenses is not the purpose of this clip for children, but you can do "imperfecto" nicely here.

You can add IR plus GERUND, adding "poco a poco" to the meaning of the verb in the gerund
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
