Re: Spanish resources
Wow, that is a really cool resource, reineke! I wonder if similar offerings exist for other languages (Dante in Italian or Goethe in German, etc...)

Take a look at Italian resources. Note that I've made 63 edits to the first post.

There' s also the Princeton Dante Project: http://etcweb.princeton.edu/dante/pdp/
German
You' ll have to look around for the free versions of quality full-length audiobooks. Here' s something to get you started:

Nice. I should've been more specific! I actually meant the specific text itself. It looks very nicely produced and I'd love physical copies of things like that for other languages:

It lists all words that students ordinarily shouldn't be expected to know (abadejo codfish; zaquizamí garret), and some that maybe they should know but don't (padecer to suffer; raposa fox), and sometimes it gives definitions for more common words, just in case (manera way; nobleza nobility).

Re: Spanish resources
Thankyou so much reineke - this is amazing!!!
That Doyle bilingual book is very exciting. I have been using Libros Bilingües Clarin (but I only have two) and I think that bilingual books are perfect for where I'm at in my journey.
You might like to add to your beautiful and comprehensive list a podcast that I've been quite enjoying: Espanolistos It has been a great help for me so far. It is completely in Spanish with one native speaker (Columbian) and her Texan husband who starts out with OK Spanish and gets much better over the first 20 or so episodes Check it out - maybe you'll think it's worthy of inclusion on your list. Same person (the Columbian) has a series of 10-minute Spanish tips. I've only checked out one so far: <10 minutes about the phrase " De noche todos los gatos son pardos". Love that phrase.
Thanks again

Re: Spanish resources
I created a lemma based frequency list from ~30k Spanish news articles. I plan to update this roughly quarterly as the corpus grows. You can filter on part of speech as well, in case you'd like to focus on verbs or something. It's all free to use however you'd like, licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0.

Re: Spanish resources
I found an interesting bilingual website (if that is even a term). In other words the website has an English version and a Spanish version. It's a website containing news, reports, interviews pertaining to the investigation and analysis of organised crime in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Good news is that a fair amount of the big articles have a Spanish and English version so if you want you can make bilingual texts!
https://es.insightcrime.org/ (Spanish)
https://www.insightcrime.org/ (English)
This is a Dual Text I created using a portion of one of this weeks' big articles.
Espero que os sirva y os parezca útil

Re: Spanish resources
Hi, guys. Me again.
The other day I found a website that makes content for higher intermediate and advanced Spanish learners. It's called Español Avanzado. It's created by a Spanish speaking couple (a Brit and a Spaniard) and the site seems fairly new. They have a section called 'Artículos de Actualidad con Audios, Gramática y Ejercicios. It seems they basically take interesting news articles from various sites and provide the articles with audio and within the articles they seem to break down various tricky expressions and grammar rules. You can also do some exercises about the article at the end of it. You do need to create a free account to access these features.

There are also some other interesting things that the site seems to offer but I have yet to test them out. All in all does seem like a good resource. I hope you guys find it helpful.
