Re: Spanish resources
I know our many verbs meaning "to become" involve too many nuances and I'm sorry.
It's a good table. However, it says ponerse is an involuntary change, but it is sometimes perfectly voluntary as well. You can see it in one of the examples the table itself provides: se puso guapísimo para la fiesta 'he made himself look on point for the party'.

Re: Spanish resources
Came across what looks like a good series of videos in slow Spanish called Dreaming Spanish. There are beginner and intermediate videos, and there's quite a variety of content. One thing he does that looks like fun is play games like twenty questions with a friend. No subtitles, but he often illustrates meanings with gestures or drawings.

Ah, that's a good point about the automatic subtitles. Happy to hear the channel looks useful!

Re: Spanish resources
Yes, it's great. He doesn't speak in "discurso conectado" but in chunks and repeats, redundancies and gestures, he draws and uses maps. This slow speed allows me to write "mentally" what he says.
Here is some theoretical stuff about input before speaking ot writing.
