The monthly online audio-magazines “Think French” and “Think Spanish” are presently available at a $100 reduction from the regular price. This offer includes access to the previous two year’s issues, which translates into 36 issues for only 79 $US. The difficulty of the articles ranges from roughly A2 to B1.

Are these translations plucked from the internet or made in-house? I’m a bit skeptical that the website doesn’t seem to have a single sample page to view. Although the concept attracts me, I couldn’t spend even 1$ on something if I can’t even get a glimpse of the layout.

I would say to stay away from that! I somehow managed to find the same books/series being sold in Amazon (i was looking for images and saw a link to Amazon) and they include a "look inside!". It looks like the one same person was the "translator" for a lot of them (if not all of them).
I just checked the Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (English to Japanese) and just noticed a really awful mistake at the beginning!
So basically for the sentence "sitting by her sister on the bank..." the translation is "アリスは、姉が銀行に座っている".

The word 銀行 means "bank" but it's the institution where people keep their money, etc. Not to mention that the whole sentence is awkward and probably wrong (i checked a japanese edition that seemed more official, as in being an edition that was made or sold in Japan).
There's probably more mistakes (bad translations) with the rest of the languages they offer. :x

That's what I suspected! Thanks!

I do not know how much of a deal this is, but I happened to notice that Amazon UK seem to have reduced a lot of the Assimil courses.

Examples;
Arabic with ease super pack (Book plus 4 CDS and mp3 disc) now £45
Italian with ease super pack (Book plus 4 cds and mp3 disc) now £53
French 2016 edition (Book plus mp3 disc) now £45
Learn Spanish:beginner level A2 now £20

There are others, too. Some of these are apparently around 50% off, but I cannot really comment as I do not keep up with the current prices on these. The only exception being the Spanish one I listed last, as I actually wanted to buy it sooner, but £33 seemed a bit too high, £20 on the other hand is much more comfortable.
