New Yojik website

Postby Ericounet » Sun Jul 10, 2016 8:06 am

Hi,

the "old" fsi-languages.yojik.eu website needed some upgrading.

Work is in progress: you can have a first impression on: https://newfsi.yojik.net/

It's a home server (and not a very fast one (adsl link)).

When finished, I'll put it on my main server (I'll keep the "old" website online).

I put also online a gitlab instance (something similar to github): it's a repository for my works on the languages: digitization etc ...
This gitlab instance is open for everyone , but limited to "language" related projects. You can create an account on it and save your works (git .. of course!). You can keep your projects private or share them.

It's on the same home sever and the url is: https://git.yojik.net/

You can explore the projects by clicking on "Explore" at the bottom of the page; no need to register.

Some cleaning of my projects is needed: I'll do it when I get time ...

So, here are the latest news,

Eric

Cortina resources on the Yojik

Postby Ericounet » Sat Aug 13, 2016 11:52 am

New material

Hi,

The Cortina language materials (Russian and Japanese) have been made available on The Yojik Website https://fsi-languages.yojik.eu by the kind permission of the holder of the copyright, Magdalen Livesey, the President of Cortina International, Inc.

Thanks a lot to: Magdalen Livesey (President, Cortina Learning International, Inc.), SpeakEasy (Michael), jpazzz, daristani who worked hard to make this possible.

I forgot a long time ago to add the Persian audio files: it's done.

Eric

Thank you Eric!!! Cortina and Berlitz programs with audio seem like the perfect way for me to learn.

Thanks for the work.

Re: New Yojik website : it's online

Hi,

just a short message: the new FSI-languages website is online. Same URL as before.

Enjoy (and report links errors ... )

It's not completely finished (the FSI part is finished) , but there is a link to the old website on the main page.

Hi,

I've updated the Yojik website with the Cambodian resources provided by Demi Puppet.

A big thanks to him who works so hard to find missing resources.

Hahaha when I read this thread title I thought it was a funky spelling of New York.

But your project looks cool, I'll check it out!

Re: New Yojik website: new resources ....

Postby Ericounet » Sun Mar 24, 2019 12:23 pm

hi,

I put online a (home based) git server with a lot of resources I worked on through the years.

https://git.yojik.net

The resources are mostly about the Russian and the Chinese languages. But there is a new Spanish resource, thanks to Jan.

There is also the first unit of FSI German.

I added a .odt output format ... not everybody likes to work on the docbook format, but I didn't check the odt result thoroughly. Use it as you want. (to remind you, odt is (one of) the openoffice/libreoffice format you can convert into a Microsoft doc format)

Jan Herman registered on the git server and works on the digitization of the Spanish Basic Spanish course.

Someone here was working on the FSI or DLI Korean ... I don't remember who. But maybe, I could put his work on the git server too.

Enjoy!
