When I go to http://www.6play.fr I am able to get thru to the first level for selections but it doesn't allow me to play any of the selections.

That's odd. I will say it did make me make a free account, but the account didn't require that I give a location. And I mean, I haven't used a VPN in weeks (as in weeks before ever going to that URL) and my computer has been restarted multiple times in that time.

I was also blocked in Germany. Although the location in the fill-in form is optional, they blocked my "zone geographique".

I have bookmarked this page - the selection of French resources is fantastic and will definitely save me preparation time as a French language teacher in the future.

I'd like to also recommend a couple of interactive and listening sites for teaching and learning:

https://french-resources.org/ (free resources for all four skills)
http://www.languageguide.org/ (mixed vocab, grammar and reading activities)
https://theidealteacher.com/category/french (beginner and intermediate listening and vocabulary activities)

There is a pretty decent forum in French about literary matters and related topics called Études littéraires.
Most of the topics cover French matter, but foreign literatures are covered as well.

The forums include the following topics (since this is an English-only forum I provide English translations of the topics).

Entraide scolaire et bac de français (I leave this untranslated cause frankly I don't know what it means)
Langue française (French language)
La filière littéraire (French threads)
Littérature française (French literature)
Littérature et esthétique générale (Literature and General Esthetics (?))
Autres littératures (Other (non-French) literatures)
Langues anciennes (Ancient languages)
Langues vivants (Living languages)
Actualité littéraire et textes des internautes (Current and internet literature)
Café philo (Philosophy cafe)

Have a look. Corrections to my translations are welcome. :)
