Hi all,

I've read the self-promotion guidelines and I believe my post here is ok, but mods feel free to delete this if not. I didn't see a way to send PMs, and I'm not sure if the "contact us" form worked.

So, I've recently finished a project meant to help English language learners with reading. The idea is to enter in any English language text, submit it, and then click on words to hear the word pronounced and see definitions, translations, and related Wikipedia articles.

Lexical.io sources data from Wiktionary and Wikipedia, plus an additional 15,000 or so audio recordings from native English speakers. Sign-up is free, and if you do so, you can save definitions and texts too.
