wikitongues poly app- opinions?

Has anyone heard of this? There is a project on kickstarter by a group called wikitongues that wants to create an app called "poly." The app will feature videos of native speakers/signers and dictionaries created by volunteers. If funded, the app will be free. What do you think? Do you think this could actually help people learn languages or no?

Assuming the app is funded, wikitongues plans to have it released to the public on February 21, 2017.
