Can't remember specific website

Postby LanguageConnoisseur » Fri May 05, 2023 3:19 pm

I can't use the search system (for an unspecified reason), so don't complain that I didn't search this forum.

There's this one specific website (a language resource website) that I remember using some time in 2020.
The website had lots of features, including: grammar check, daily language crossword, match games (the ones where you need to match two identical pictures), pronounciation of words, leaderboards, and even it's own flashcard program.

I think the first word of the website's name was "Lexi" but I'm not too sure.

The flashcard program I remember the best. There were a few flashcards relating to continents that you could download in the website.
If you want me to add more information, then just ask.

I'm currently stuck in limbo (by that I can't request a new password), so I had to create a second account. Don't get confused about why a new poster is posting on a topic by a new poster.

To answer your questions, no, it was not Lexilogos. I'm sure the website didn't have virtual keyboards (but this is based off my memory, so you can correct me later when you guys find it).

And no, it was not LexTutor. I'm pretty sure the website had either a .com or .net domain.

There's that compound that might make some old people forgetful. (I'm not referring to the OP).

Or maybe https://lexile.com/ for rating the difficulty of written works.

Nope. Not "Lexile", not at all.

If you guys want a comprehensive list of the languages I remember learning from this website:
French
Italian
Chinese
Japanese
Arabic (not really learnt in a sense)
Swedish
Greek
Latin
Spanish
Finnish (maybe?)
Turkish (maybe?)
Dutch (maybe?)

That's the one! I should really make a notepad file containing "LexisRex" so I don't end up forgetting again.
