Pons symbol dictionary - point to what you want

Postby DaveAgain » Wed Jan 25, 2023 9:12 am

Pons offer a symbol dictionary - Zeige-Wörterbuch.

They don't offer a preview of it, but it looks as though they've collected/developed international symbols for various things that you can point to when you're trying to communicate without a common language. A universal phrase book! :-)
Mit dem Zeigefinger rund um die Welt. Die Sprache, die jeder versteht.

Einfach auf alles zeigen: Die 650 wichtigsten Motive für unterwegs und Alltag.
Sie suchen eine Unterkunft oder ein vegetarisches Essen? Mit den aktuellen Bildern und Icons kommen Sie überall zurecht.

Extra: Die wichtigsten Kapitel für unterwegs als E-Book.

EDIT
Looking for a preview, I found a similar book the Icoon communicator.
ICOON communicator

ICOON communicator also makes use of the global power of signs and images: wordless communication is enabled worldwide via 1700 everyday icons. The unique translation tool in this picture dictionary now allows users to complete essential phrases with symbols, facilitating more complex interactions in seven universal languages. Or you just point to icons. The book is also suited for communication with stroke patients, deaf, deaf-mute and for work with refugees.
