The first two don't apply to me so I'm wondering what advice people who have experience with Glossika would give on programs that should be done first. Would Pimsleur thru the 3rd course be enough? A Michel Thomas course? Assimil?Glossika works great for:
- People learning a language that is similar to their native language
- People who already speak a few languages
- People who have already learned the basics of the language they want to learn, but aren't yet proficient enough to use the language in a real-life situation
when are you ready to begin Glossika?

when are you ready to begin Glossika?
I searched on the forum and there's lots of discussion about Glossika, including how the product has changed over time and logs of people using it. What I am wondering (and wasn't able to answer) is how far along should you be before you start to use the program? They say at https://ai.glossika.com/blog/the-glossika-method

Re: when are you ready to begin Glossika?
I started Glossika with Korean when I had only been studying for a week or two. I’m now at the two and a half month mark with Korean. My understanding of the Glossika A1 material has increased *a lot* since I first started, as I’ve been doing LingoDeer and Anki concurrently. I honestly don’t regret starting Glossika from scratch, because even though it was incredibly opaque at first, that early exposure certainly didn’t hurt me, and it has absolutely helped reinforce what I’m learning in my other courses. I just wouldn’t put huge amounts of time in with Glossika until you’ve reached a higher level. I’m only doing 75 review sentences a day for now. I would absolutely do more if I was working with a transparent language like Spanish or Dutch. In summary, Glossika is a great tool at any level, how you use it depends on the language and your level.
Even shorter answer: Start Glossika at whatever level you happen to be at on Black Friday. The sale is the only reason I pulled the trigger.

I looked at Glossika for Spanish. Honestly I think it's rubbish and there were actually mistakes in it.
I can't understand the idea that anyone would reach an 'advanced' level in a language course and only then begin an expensive version of Anki. Also the narrator fellow's voice was absolutely irritating. They'd have to pay me to use it and I'd still refuse.
