Hello, before posting i tried to check if the forum is okay with this kind of request but couldn't find a search button, feel free to delete my post if you need to.
Anyway, i am looking for someone who has Italian with ease by Assimil (+audios) and is willing to sell it, as i can't find it anywhere but i strongly want to give it to a friend of mine as a resource to begin with. I used assimil myself to learn Swedish and Russian and found it very useful. Unfortunately the italian version for english speakers is out of print and out of stock anywhere, so i'm trying to ask here and there

While I don't have this particular book, I do see on the Assimil site that there is an English-based e-method course for Italian. It appears to be based on the Olivieri text, which I'm pretty sure was the most recent Italian course to be published with an English base, though it's out of print, as you noted. I know that a web/mobile app isn't for everybody, and I'm still a big fan of the original Assimil format for sure, but the apps have gotten better over the years, so much so that I felt the progression through the recent Swahili e-method course was actually better than with the book.

Have you tried https://www.bookfinder.com? You might be able to locate used books, and maybe even books with audio--I found this one eBay listing, which you would have to verify if it has the CD's.

That's a good catch on the eBay listing! It appears to be an Indian edition and they do normally come with the CDs and sell around that price point. One point to be made is that I think the one for the Indian market is still the 1983 Galdo-Marchi text, as opposed to the 2004 Olivieri text. This may be a plus, this may be a minus. The language and concepts taught will be a bit dated, but there are still quite a few people who prefer the earlier generation courses as they tend to be "meatier." There were also two recordings done for the Galdo-Marchi version, and I wonder which comes along with this edition, the older, slower reading, or the newer, somewhat more lively reading.
