Apps/ideas for connecting with real native speakers

Postby wheresmycookie » Mon Apr 25, 2022 3:05 pm

I've been studying Mandarin for 9 months now, but one thing that I feel is missing is that I actually don't have anywhere to use it, outside of lessons with my teacher. Does anybody else have this problem in their language learning journey? What have you done to try to find more people practice with? Thank you :-)

Some people here do online language exchanges. There are some suggestions in this thread. Depending on where you live, of course, it will be easier or harder to meet native speakers in person.
