Hello. Does anyone happen to know a good series of graded readers in French? Starting from A1 (or even A0) and going up? I'd prefer non-fiction but I understand if that's not possible.
It doesn't have to have anything special, just the story, etc. so I can Anki the cards as needed. I'll be doing it along with the Nature Method stuff and a bunch of listening practice. Also, any grammar practice books would be welcome too. Trying a new approach where it's basically all graded readers and grammar workbooks progressing at roughly the same rate. Hopefully it works.

My favourite French graded reader series is Mondes en VF https://www.mondesenvf.fr/ I find them much more "'adult" in tone and content even at the lower level than others and so less boring to me even if the language is A1.

Hachette had a series called 'collection lecture facile' that was largely non-fiction (I liked their 2cv one.). I think they're out of print now, but your library service might still have them.galaxyrocker wrote:Hello. Does anyone happen to know a good series of graded readers in French? Those are three publishers of graded readers, I used a few ages ago (like 15 years ago). If you're into graded readers, they are all excellent choices.
As to the grammar books:
Grammaire Progressive is the golden standard.
Grammaire Expliquée is not bad at all.
Grammaire en Dialogues is good too.
The grammars by Pug are interesting too.
Kwiziq is the best online French grammar source, and it is bilingual, I whole heartedly recommend it.
