german and italian course question

Postby Language patzer » Sat Sep 04, 2021 9:18 am

I've been studying from Mauger's COURS DE LANGUE ET DE CIVILISATION FRANCAISES, a course that combines language and culture.

Does anyone know of a similar style course in german and italian? I don't mind if it's a bit older.

Thanks!

The first Goethe Institut course, Deutsche Sprachlehre für Ausländer, appears to be similar in style to the Mauger, but it doesn't make the same effort to present German culture.

Archive.org have a copy.

NB, I've not used this course, just browsed throught it.

Dw.com's modern course Nicos Weg might be an attempt to present contemporary German society while also teaching the language.
