Does anyone know of any software that lets you create DIY audio courses with some sort of SRS mechanism?
I'm talking about entering your own sentences and audio files to create an audio course that goes:
L1 sentences
Pause
L2 sentence
Or vice versa. Each pair would be presented progressively less frequently after each appearance.
Essentially, an audio anki, but without the feedback mechanism (since its meant to be used hands-free).
The idea is that you could use such a course / app while doing things like exercising, where you can't exactly have your phone in your hand. But unlike pre-packaged courses, you could tailor it to your own language learning in terms of topics, vocabulary etc.

Thanks, that looks like just the thing. Although the copyright notice says 2003. Is it still supported?

Rdearman wrote about this program in his log. He said that he corresponded with the author that provided some corrections to the program. So it seems to be still supported.

Yeah, the author is a Cambridge professor, and he actively supports the software.

Even if he didn't, it's all written in Python, so it's always going to be possible to run it somewhere.

Re: Software for DIY audio courses
Our user neumanc wrote a command-line Python program to do this automatically as long as you have the sentence pairs already recorded.
