Pimsleur Phase V courses
As many members are already aware, Simon & Schuster offer Pimsleur Phase V courses for French, Spanish, and Italian all of which have been well received. Having just checked their website, I notice that they have released German Phase V, as well.

Yeah, they just released it today (at least on Amazon), I've been keeping a watchful eye on it. If you go to Audible, you can get it for $80 (audio only); I assume the difference in cost is from the materials and physical productions of CDs. Once I have the money I'll purchase it and add it to my musi.... er, I mean language learning CD collection.

I did that once. Maybe things have changed since then, but at the time I had to install Windows, download their crappy app, only to find out that I got the course as one 16-hour-long block without there being any way to jump straight to a particular lesson. I ended up making a 'recording' using some shareware which turned my fresh Windows installation into a steaming pile of **** and then splitting it using Audacity. Highly recommended.

Re: Pimsleur Phase V courses
Lol, good to know. I generally try to stay away from Pimsleur on Audible, since I would have to use my phone I don't really feel like having to hit a button to turn my screen on, put in my security pin, and then look down at the screen to find and make sure I hit the pause button and only the pause button every time I want to pause the recording to think. It's one of those things that makes me long for the days when most handheld devices used physical buttons that I could actually feel so I wouldn't have to keep my eyes on the screen the whole time.
However, I figured I'd mention it since I'm sure people use Pimsleur differently than I do.

Pimsleur has a "Black Friday" sale through Monday Nov. 30. 50% off CD and 25% off MP3s and software. I have never seen one that low. http://www.pimsleur.com/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=CyberWeek3USActive&cp_type=enpm&rmid=20151128_Pimsleur_CyberWeekPt3_Active&rrid=4172259
