IRC trivia for fast-paced language practice

Postby arthaey » Sun Aug 30, 2015 3:49 am

When I was a kid, I honed my typing speeds playing IRC trivia. I realized that there were probably IRC trivia channels in other languages as well, so I went hunting.

Lo and behold, they do indeed exist! Or at least, I found 2 active channels on irc.irc-hispano.org (#atriviate & #trivial-los-viciados). I even got onto the top 10 lists on each! (There was only one other active player in each channel while I was there, but I'm still going to take my victories where I can find them. ;))

Google "IRC client" and "Windows" or "Mac" or whatever you use. Then connect to the "irc.irc-hispano.org" server and type "/join #atriviate" and "/join #trivial-los-viciados" into your IRC client's window.

Or, you can use IRC Hispano's browser-based client and enter the above channels as the "canal".
