Arabic IPA

Postby Thunter » Sat Aug 29, 2015 3:36 pm

Hi,

This is my secound post regarding Arabic.
I once again need some help.
Normally after learning a language i would make a grammar summary of the language.
I would scan my book in and would ABBYY FineReader let it read out.
It works fine but in Arabic there is no way to scan in the vocalisation,
and in grammar it matters if a word is pronounced with a i or u.
So I'm searching for a programm that would make it possible to
translate Arabic into IPA.
If this isn't possible i need another way to make my summary.
However if someone could help me and find a good programm it would be awsome.
An text example would be this:
اللغة العربية

I'm not aware of any automatic IPA generators. The IPA for what you posted is /al-luɣa lʕara'bijja/, though.

If you want the pronunciation, I'd go to http://www.acapela-group.com/voices/demo/ and paste the text into their site.

The text to speech is awsome but i actually need something in IPA, Arabic with vocalisation or a latin transciption with vowels.
ABBY can read the Arabic script but leaves out the vocalisation...
