With a view to liberating space for an eventual expansion of the list of Malay resources at the top of this discussion thread, I have (a) replaced the space directly above by a note (Reserved) and (b) have transferred the previous contents of the post above into this space. Linguaphone Malay
As mentioned in the introduction, there is presently an offer on eBay for what-appears-to-be a pristine copy of the Linguaphone Malay course. Yes, even though I have absolute no relation to the seller of this item, I really did create this file out of my enthusiasm for this vintage course!

Linguaphone Cassette tapes Malay - eBayUK

In the period from the 1950’s through the 1970’s, the Linguaphone catalogue included a Malay course; that is, one separate from their Indonesian course. Materials included a Course Manual, a Handbook, and 4 audio cassettes (see image above). Recently, Linguaphone U.K. has begun offering copies of their legacy courses subject to inquiry, presumably in PDF/MP3 format, going as far back as the 1950’s.
