Writing skills

Postby Perchta » Wed Feb 20, 2019 7:51 pm

Hi!
Could anyone recommend me a web page or app for improving writing skills in a foreign language? I use Lang-8 sometimes, but you can’t create a new account anymore, so it’s more and more difficult to get one’s text corrected. I’m looking for a similar web site or app.
Thanks!!

You can ask for corrections here on the forum :) Make a post in your log and paste your text or give a link to your lang-8 post. Obviously it's up to each individual member to decide if they want to give corrections.

When it comes to writing I'm afraid the best way is still getting help from other people :P No app can replace that

Yes, I know, I meant an app where I write a text and the app alerts other users that they can correct it... Something like lang-8 using an app :) Ok, I wasn't clear :)

It’s not an app, but Italki has a notebook feature where you can write texts for correction.

The app Tandem is a language exchange app, so not exactly what you’re looking for, but you can write messages to your friends on there and they can correct them. I think HelloTalk might work like that too, but I haven’t tried it.
