Affaires étrangères on France Culture with Christine Ockrent. It’s definitely advanced, but I find it easier to follow because they discuss current geopolitical issues which you are probably already at least somewhat familiar with, and because it’s usually just one expert talking at a time. The host has a delightfully erudite voice, I feel smarter just listening to her.

Re: French podcasts: intermediate to advanced
It's been a while since I've looked at this thread, and it needs some updating. In particular, the intermediate section is missing Easy French, and I still haven't written anything about a few of the podcasts I've listed. Also, in the past 3 years I'm sure there have probably been some new intermediate podcasts. I'll start to have another look around, .... soon.

Re: French podcasts: intermediate to advanced
As I have already posted in another thread. I still recommend France Inter. It provides intermediate to advanced French listening episodes:

Has anyone mentioned France Inter ?

They have long and short episodes that are well crafted stories or news. I found it quite hard when I was to climb from B1 to B2.
If you want to achieve B2 or above, this is definitely a good resource, especially essential for listening practice.

Which specific podcast series on France Inter did you find helpful and interesting? Or did you just randomly pick podcasts from the page?

Re: French podcasts: intermediate to advanced
In French podcast news, François Hollande has one. I haven't listened yet but I presume it would be upper int/advanced. Trigger warning, the first episode is about the American election.

Hi, I would recommend "Grand bien vous fasse" and "Interception" (only on weekend) if you have time and if you want short episodes, I recommend the series "Le journal de *h" that fills in hour slots and provides quick news for the day
