Well, I'm delighted to hear you think so! I would never claim that my efforts would be as good as the real thing, but I do hope they are good enough for learning purposes.
As it happens, there's a lot of variations in quality, in the computer voices in different languages on the voice simulation website I'm using. I'm converting Assimil Indonesian into an Assimil Malay course for myself, using Google Translate and the Malay simulated voices from the site. (This is not something I intend to post on archive.org, as we all know the limitations of Google Translate; but I will accept these limitations for myself.) The Malay voices are notably lower quality than the Italian and French ones, which is another reason for my not wanting to post my home-made Assimil Malay.
