Wel, dw i'n teimlo bod rhaid i mi dechrae rhywbeth yn y Gymraeg.

Sut bynnag, dw i ddim yn dysgu Cymraeg ysgrifenedig (written). Dw i'n dysgu dim ond Cymraeg tafodiethol (colloquial) llafar (spoken).

Beth bynnag, rhaid i ni dechrae rhywle!

ydy rhywun yn gallu parhau?

Wps! Dim "tafodiethol", ond "tafodieithol"! - Mae'n ddrwg gen i.
Oops, not "tafodiethol", but "tafodieithol" - I'm sorry. ("there is sorrow with me").
Yn y Gymraeg y de, byddai hwn "mae'n ddrwg gyda fi" neu "mae'n ddrwg 'da fi".
In Welsh of the south, that would be "mae'n ddrwg gyda fi" or "mae'n ddrwg 'da fi".

Mae'n hawdd iawn gwneud camgymeriad fel 'na.
It's very easy to make a mistake like that.
Ond dyleni wedi sylweddoli mai gair cysylltiedig efo "iaith" byddai gan "ieith" a dim "ieth".
But I should have realised that a word connected with "iaith" would have "ieith" and not "ieth".
(not 100% sure of the grammar of that sentence...! Bydda i'n gwirio fo nes ymlaen. I'll check it later on. )

c.f. iaith (enw benywaidd - feminine noun), "language" lluosog-plural = "ieithoedd".

Vowel shifts in the plural seem relatively common in Welsh and there are a lot of plural forms. The one with "oedd" is relatively common, but not the most common.
