hi,
although I conclude most of words with ت or ة it returns the conclusion of words in ه
why?
for instance تفحت means apple but it returns تفاحه as apple in translation.
both are same?
is google translate wrong in word detection for arabic ?

Re: is google translate wrong in word detection for arabic ?
Hi Jimmy,
Well, to start off, the singular apple in Arabic is properly spelled تفاحة, while plural is تفاح (i.e not تفحت).
As for the ta'a marbuta تاء مربوطة, I suspect that Google Translate gets it wrong because of the data it was trained on, it gets a lot of things wrong although it has been improving. The orthography rule is dead easy for native speakers but people usually ignore it for the sake of convenience.

Re: is google translate wrong in word detection for arabic ?
according to my new learnings,
this "ta marbutah" is for making feminine form of nouns or subjects.
like this:
1) طالِبٌ
2) طالِبَةٌ
the first word means a male student and the second one is for female student
also, there are two more types but I could not understand one of that well (with ي)
إ seems like clear (li انتإِ or more correctly (presumably) انتاِ )

Actually we don't have this word (تفحت) in Arabic. It has no meaning. تفاحة is the correct one
Please let me know if you any further assistance
