Just a private note for myself as a reminder about consistent English pronunciation.

English is my third language, after a several month stint of Babbling (my native language, mostly atrophied at present except on weekends), followed, according to my mother, by a few months of Unholy Shrieking Like a Banshee before I acquired some elementary English.

Just an unsuccessful attempt at a joke, when circulating a video which I found humorous.

English is my native language, but for the first several months of my life, I understand I was speaking in Babbling (specifically, the English variant of the Baby Babble dialect), followed by a hellish period of shrieking, during which I am advised I communicated via a combination of English-influenced and Banshee-influenced shrieks. As stated, I still Babble a bit on the weekends, and I will occasionally still shriek when reading some political stories, but my skills are considerably atrophied in those areas.

For the language profile, I thought it best just to skip the first year or so of my Babbling and Shrieking phases (especially as neither has an ISO code) and go straight to my first real language, English.

I have left out of my language profile, by the way, Wolfish, as that raises its own complicated issues.
