Resources for a teen to learn Korean

My 14 year old daughter has become obsessed with K-pop and since she knows I study languages she has asked me for ideas to learn Korean. I've been impressed by the fact that she can sing along with her favourite songs.
She wants to get a book she saw on Amazon called "Learn Korean with K-pop", but it looked to me like that wouldn't be a good starting place (from what I understand you need to know how to use the Korean script throughout). My suggestions to her were to start with Duolingo, and then we'd look into getting a beginner's book. After she finishes the beginner's book I said I'd get one of the K-pop books.
She has been doing Duolingo on and off for three weeks, but she feels it's going too fast. I've found videos that teach the script on Go Billy: https://gobillykorean.com/category/learn-hangul/. The speaker has a strong American accent and I'm concerned that he pronounces the Korean sounds with his accent. Can anyone comment? I've also considered his book which has pretty good reviews, Korean Made Simple https://www.amazon.co.uk/Korean-Made-Simple-beginners-learning/dp/1497445825/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1530773920&sr=8-2&keywords=korean. Again, any comments would be useful.
We also got the first 5 lessons of Pimsleur from Audible, but neither of us could tell with confidence what sounds the Korean speaker was making. I reckon it might be useful once she knows the alphabet and core vocabulary.
So if you have any advice, suggestions or comments on the resources I've mentioned, I would love to hear it!
