Also, what is the Arabic word for "because"?

Let's see!
You can add a word, but slightly change the translation: the line becomes: "sababu farhati/sururi" (the cause of my happiness)
or "aslon li farhati" (an origin to my happiness)
(I am no poet and no translator, but I tried to approximate the meaning as close as I could, I hope it's enough :) )
The Arabic word for "because" is "Li-anna"(لأنًّ)

Ummm.... What I intended was put "because" before the fifth line and moving "huwa" to the last line, like this:

Li-anna fahtaa habbuki
huwa suruuri lii

Is it acceptable?

sorry but no, because 'Li-anna " and "Fahatta" are both linking tools, but it can be:

Li-anna hubbii laki (Because my love for you)
huwa suruurun lii (is a happiness for me)

Can it be "li-anna hubbii li anti" to make it 7 syllables?

No, that would be "li-anna hubbii laki anti" (to emphasize), we don't say "Li anti"
It's already 7 syllables :p

Sorry, I mean 8 syllables, though your latest post has met the requirement.
